The Functional Wellness Symptom Checklist was created for people who feel like their symptoms are being overlooked because their standard lab work doesn't show anything obvious.
This checklist isn't here to diagnose you or tell you what's wrong. It's here to help you see patterns you may not have noticed before, and start asking better questions about what your body might be trying to tell you.

Inside this free checklist, you'll look at symptom patterns related to key areas of your health:
Energy and Blood Sugar
Thyroid and Metabolism
Iron, Energy, and Nervous System Health
Inflammation and Recovery
Heart and Cardiovascular Health
Dr. Brian has spent nearly 20 years helping people make sense of symptoms their doctors couldn't explain and labs their doctors said were "fine." Most of the time, the answers were in those labs. they just needed to be looked at with more context.
This checklist exists because your symptoms are telling you something real. Use it to get what you've been feeling out of your head and onto paper, so you can finally start asking the right questions.
Most people are used to thinking about symptoms one at a time. But the body doesn't work in isolated pieces. This checklist will help you step back and look at the whole picture.
The Functional Wellness Symptom Checklist is a free educational tool designed to help you organize what you’ve been feeling and notice patterns across different areas of the body, including energy, digestion, mood, sleep, inflammation, metabolism, and more.
This checklist is for people who feel off, tired, foggy, inflamed, anxious, run down, or not like themselves — especially if their standard lab work looks “normal” but they still don’t feel well.
No. This checklist is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace medical care. It is designed to help you get your symptoms out of your head and onto paper so you can start seeing patterns and ask better questions.
No. You can use the checklist whether or not you have recent labs. It starts with your symptoms, not your numbers. If you do have lab results, the checklist may help you think through whether your symptoms and labs are telling the same story.
Go through it slowly and mark everything that applies, even symptoms that seem minor or unrelated. Then step back and look for patterns. The goal is not to focus on one symptom, but to better understand the bigger picture of what your body may be communicating.
The checklist was created by Dr. Brian Davis, a Doctor of Chiropractic and functional wellness educator who has spent nearly 20 years helping people better understand symptoms, lab patterns, nutrition, and whole-person wellness.
After you enter your name and email, the checklist will be sent to your inbox. You may also receive follow-up educational emails from Dr. Brian to help you better understand symptom patterns, lab questions, and functional wellness concepts. You can unsubscribe at any time.
